Ebor Beef Inc. is a large innovative group of prime beef producers from the New England and Northwest regions. All share the commitment to produce top-quality grass-fed cattle.
Ebor Beef employs a Marketing Agent to deliver superior marketing information through personal contact and comprehensive weekly reports. Cattle can be sold direct to processors and feedlots, through local saleyards and AuctionsPlus™, as well as between producers.
History
Ebor Beef Inc was established in 1993 by a small group of prime beef producers from the Ebor district. They identified the need to market their cattle collectively, as the Ebor cattle saleyards had recently closed, and similar beef groups were forming though-out NSW.
Today
Since its inception the group has steadily grown in numbers and geographically, with many progressive and prominent cattle producers joining Ebor Beef from the Northern Tablelands and the North West regions.
Neither geography nor size of cattle enterprise are a restriction to becoming a member of Ebor Beef. Current members are as far north as Tenterfield, west to Moree, south to Tamworth and across to the East coast.
Ebor Beef Inc. is overlooked by a strong Management Committee who meet regularly throughout the year to discuss current member enquiries, reports from the Marketing Agent and strategies to continue to grow the member base.
